Business must be in District 3
The business must be a for-profit business
In operation for at least 2 consecutive years
Must have less than 7 full-time employees
A physical address is required. PO Boxes are not accepted.
If you received funding in the years 2022 & 2023, you must sit out 2 years before reapplying

- Enter your address in the "Who is my Commissioner?" box.
- Ensure your commissioner is Keon Hardemon (District 3). If not, apply through your specific commissioner's program.
Step 2: Capture Your Business Shine: Photo Submissions
- Must include photos of the interior and exterior of the business
- Include product shots and capture the atmosphere, team, and customers.
- Feature customer testimonials, volunteer activities, or relevant initiatives
- Highlight your unique selling proposition and community involvement.
- Use a variety of angles and perspectives to keep it engaging.
Step 3: Obtain a Current Government-Issued Photo ID
- Visit your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

Step 4: Verify Your Business License
- Please ensure you have a current BTR and provide copies for the last two fiscal years (2022 and 2023) and the current year (2024).

Step 5: Obtain a Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)

- Your business must be registered with the state of Florida on SunBiz.
